Ashton Building systems recently completed the waterproofing works to the Historic Mansion House, Larbert.
With a liquid coating system installed directly over the failing roofing membrane the roof was issued with a new guarantee and an upgraded appearance. Working with our suppliers to provide full specifications and construction details to the client to deliver a first-class project delivered within budget.
After recently completed projects with our client, we at Ashton Building Systems where invited to provide a solution to the water ingress issues that had been occurring at the JR Group head office in Paisley.
With new watertight upstand seal installed, spacer system and new single skin top sheet along with contacting feature perimeter flashings all precisely fabricated in our workshop we have provided a fresh new facelift to the front elevation of the property which can be easily seen from surrounding transport links.

Ashton building systems recently completed the gutter lining and external perimeter detailing to two new blocks of residential flatted developments for one of our repeat customers – with new single ply membrane dressed under the new tiled roof and membrane up and over the parapet and completed with our external metal membrane coated trims all fabricated in-house with over 200 mtrs of works involved.

Don’t leave it till it’s too late! The Showcase Cinema required our urgent attention after the roof failed, we quickly sorted out the problems as you can see from our before and after photographs.

Ashton Building Systems Ltd. were pleased to host another training day for our staff instructed by STS group Ltd.’s Derek Pudney.
We were instructed on Asbestos awareness and manual handling and the proper practises and procedures around both. For our experienced members of staff these courses were excellent for highlighting issues in these areas and reiteration correct practice. Our new members of staff were surprised to see the amount of planning, assessment and methodology we put in to ensure all our staff can return home safely from work.
Ashton building Systems were asked by Gilmour Sports to provide a solution for the re-roofing works of their newly purchased manufacturing facility in Paisley. After our detailed survey we provided proposals which included detailed drawings and specifications to the Client along with samples for each option.
We carried out new vcl layer, spacer system, quilt insulation and single skin roof sheets along with all fabricated perimeter detailing to give the existing building a new lease of life.
Full perimeter scaffold, safety netting and edge projection was also installed to ensure the project was carried out safely.
