Ashton building systems recently completed the supply and installation of both roof and wall panels including all perimeter flashings and feature fabrication works all from our in house fabrication facility.
With the complexity of the wall panels with varying panel types and modules we provided a full envelope solution including all safety elements and access to successfully complete the project to the satisfaction of the Client.
Ashton building systems recently completed the re-roofing works at the Waterfront Church, Clydebank with circa 1000m2 installed including rigid insulation board and mechanically fixed single ply membrane.
The project brought many challenges with steep slopes, detailing to existing North lights and curved upstands. A roof safety system was also installed with walkway tiles to ensure access so that roof maintenance could be carried out in a safe manner.
With both the Church and congregation pleased with the completed project we at Ashton Building systems are proud to have worked with the Church on delivering the project on time and to the satisfaction of all.
Ashton Building systems recently completed the flat roofing package at the Hillhouse Road Project in Hamilton, a 29 home development for retirement housing.
With approximately 1000m2 of VCL, Rigid insulation and mechanically installed roofing membrane providing a 20 year warranty the project was completed in March 2019 both on time and to the Clients budgets.
St. James Road – Glasgow
Ashton building systems recently carried out the completion of external wall cladding element of the 416 bed student accommodation situated within the University District of Glasgow city centre.
With all of the backing structure manufactured at our in-house fabrication facility, we installed the insulation and external MCM cladding system to replicate traditional standing seam system inclusive of full perimeter detailing.
The project was completed on programme and to the Clients budget.

Raymond will continue to assist in the estimating department however this role will allow him to enter into new and exciting avenues of the business.

ABS are delighted to be part of the Modern Apprenticeship Program, which supports young people by providing employment opportunities, qualifications and training whilst paying a living wage.
Chloe, one of our Business Administration Apprentices has also recently passed her NVQ in Business & Administration Lvl 3 whilst working with the company.
Shannon also recently completed her NVQ in Business & Administration Lvl 3 whilst working with the company.
Both Shannon and Chloe continued their employment with the company after their apprenticeships.
